Geof Kimber is a musician who hails from down under. "I was born and raised in Papua New Guinea to an Australian father and a New Zealand mother, and married a southern belle from SC, USA. And we drive a car from Japan," quips Geof.

He grew up in the same valley as Wycliffe Bible Translators' mission base in Papua New Guinea, where he grew to love the Bible and the God behind it.

Since moving to the U.S. to marry his wife Tanya, he has worked as a featured performer in family variety shows 'The Myrtle Beach Opry' and 'The Carolina Opry' in Myrtle Beach SC, and for 17 years now as an independent Christian artist. Enthusiastic in their life together and their walk with God, Geof's wife Tanya (who is also a musician) is a big support to Geof and his ministry.

Based in Myrtle Beach with their two children, he now travels around the continent - and the world, occasionally - with a teaching and singing ministry. Geof has recorded 12 albums, seven of which are on CD and mp3.

Many of us are followers, not leaders. We aren't people who take initiative; we don't enjoy charting a course. We follow others who take the initiative.
